The Mallard Cottage is a 2 bedroom rental cottage with a view of St. Charles Bay from the living room window. The entire cottage is decorated with a tranquil palette that creates the perfect setting for relaxation. The cottage has a full kitchen with large island and a bathroom with a spacious walk in shower.
The 500 foot fishing pier offers a T head at the end to try your hand at landing fish for dinner. Our pavilion has charcoal grills if you prefer cooking up your fresh dinner outside. The pavilion is also a great place to sit, look at St. Charles Bay and read a book if that is your pleasure.
The St. Charles Bay boat ramp is just a short walk away across the street. The cottage is located in Lamar and the famous Big Tree is a mile away within walking distance if you would like some exercise. Along the way to the Big Tree, Whooping Cranes can be seen along Eighth Street in the winter months.
Downtown Rockport is 12 miles away with many local shops and art galleries to explore.
